Happy Thanksgiving from a family who would like to formally request a refund on Thanksgiving weekend. 🦃

This year’s festivities included:
* Planning Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family. 
* Dad landing himself in the hospital with pneumonia.
* Spending the weekend wondering whether Southlake was ever going to provide the man with an actual bed.
* Saying goodbye to our cat, Lancing.
* Lance leaving Mike one final parting gift — a bite that’s now landed him in Emergency getting IV antibiotics. Nothing says goodbye quite like an infection.
* Cooking an obscene amount of turkey for a dinner that never happened. Anyone want a sammie?
The turkey was cooked. The dinner was cancelled. The cat is dead. Dad’s home. Mike’s in Emergency.
Not exactly the Thanksgiving we ordered, but there’s still plenty to be thankful for.
Cheers to family, questionable coping skills, and a significantly less eventful Christmas.
