🥔 A wonderful creation to aid you on a busy day! All cotton potato bags are designed to give you a perfectly baked potato in just a few minutes in the microwave.

👆Wash/scrub your potato and keep the skin on. Let dry.
👆Place potato directly in the bag, or wrap in paper towel to keep bag cleaner.
👆1 potato… microwave on high for 4-6 minutes, 2 potatoes… 6-10 minutes
🍴NO need to prick potatoes

🐓 Finally… I made something!! 🌊

For the longest time people have asked me, “What do you make?” when they visit the shop.

And my answer has always been, “Nothing!” 😂

Well, I can finally say I made something for the shop! ❤️

This little “Farm Fresh Eggs” piece was created using some of the beach glass, pebbles and porcelain pieces I’ve collected over the years while combing our local beaches (very therapeutic). Each little piece has its own story, and I’ve been collecting these treasures for years, just waiting for the right inspiration.

And, apparently chickens were the answer! 🐔 🥚

It feels nice to finally have a little piece of my own handmade work at Just Around the Corner, Earltown, NS.

One-of-a-kind, locally collected and made with love. 💕 I may just have to make another…

If you know me you may know that seniors have always held a special place in my heart. ❤️ There’s something meaningful about finding little ways to make their day brighter, bring a smile to their face, or simply make everyday life a little easier.

I’ve gathered a few handmade items in the shop that I think would make thoughtful and useful gifts for the seniors in your life:
