🩷 Every month should be breast cancer awareness month 🩷
But as a breast cancer survivor, this month carries a meaning that goes far beyond the pink ribbons.
It’s a reminder of the fear, uncertainty and strength that come with a cancer diagnosis — but also of the incredible people who walk beside us, the advances in treatment that give us hope, and the precious gift of getting to say, “I’m still here.” 💗
🩷 To those currently fighting: you are not alone.
🩷 To those who have lost someone they love: their memory matters.
🩷 To fellow survivors: I see you, I celebrate you, and I’m grateful to be among you. 🌸
This month, take a moment to check in with yourself. Know what is normal for your body, follow recommended screening guidelines, and don’t ignore changes that concern you.
And for those who have supported someone through breast cancer — thank you. Sometimes a simple phone call, a hug, a meal, or just being there means more than you will ever know. 🙏🏼
💗 Here’s to awareness, early detection, research, hope, and every survivor who gets another beautiful day.
