There’s just something magical about hummingbirds.

Has anyone else been seeing more than usual this summer? They are just so beautiful to watch, and it feels like such a blessing when they appear.

This centre metal piece has been surrounded by a hand painted mandala design using complementary colours. I don’t make these pieces very often anymore, but these sweet little birds have been calling my name.

As summer begins to wind down, so do my garden pieces….

This metal butterfly was painted in one of my favourite colour combinations of teals, blues and purples. A few coats of clear UV spray help protect it from the elements so that it can be displayed inside or outside.

I only have a few more butterflies left to be painted, and then I’ll be starting my fall/winter decor. Market season is quickly approaching, so as much as I hate seeing summer disappear, I can’t wait to start seeing you all at the markets again!
