SO MANY THANK YOU’S ARE IN ORDER TODAY!
To the Thunder Bay Medieval Faire for having us, and to the organizers and volunteers their hard work - and for pulling off such a magical and PERFECT weekend. To Hymers Agricultural Society for hosting the Faire, especially on such short notice. To the weather, for cooperating and not being cold and rainy. To the trees, for being absolutely stunning, and raining leaves on us. To the KOV for bringing the Thunder. To our daughter, Rhonwynn for sewing our beautiful tent cover. To HUNTRESS 🇨🇦 for outfitting our entire family with high-quality Medieval Faire garb and being the coolest Faire vendors/friends ever. To the adorable & interactive trinket-traders and market children who were all just too cute. To the demonstrators and performers for sharing their talents and skills over the weekend. To the Fairegoers & shoppers at our booth- you endured the heat, many of you in costumes, and your support means the WORLD to artisans like us. To Katie Lemieux for doing us a solid by taking home our 5 foot wide “dogwood chandelier” at the very end of takedown (in the dark last night) when it would NOT fit in our loaded-to-the-brim market-mobile. Last but DEFINITELY not least, to the BEST vendor friends we could ever ask for, who shared their internet connection with us so our sales were smooth all weekend, who danced barefoot with us in the leaf-swirling winds, who joked with us and shared side-splitting laughter, who gifted their food & drinks & trinkets & wares with us, and who share in the labour and understanding of doing the work of a 32 hour weekend event (not to mention the MONTHS of prep leading up to the event). We love you all so much! Special vendor friend shoutouts to HUNTRESS 🇨🇦
