Sharing Interior Design strategies through projects, experiences and inspiration

The time we had a custom stone top installed the day of the photoshoot: the glorious buffet at Cafe Sevens in all her glory. A scheduling conundrum never to be repeated but sometimes that’s show biz baby. And I mean come on, just look at her curves (granite curves to be exact).

She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s paint saving the day yet again. With major budget constraints at Project Sevens Cafe we opted to give the fireplace a sweet and simple paint glow up which did her wonders. What a vibe. Sometimes working under pressure can yield the best results.

DESIGN NARRATIVE //

At APD, we go beyond the surface, crafting design narratives that breathe life and soul into your surroundings. But what exactly is a design narrative?

Imagine it as the heartbeat of your space - the thing that makes you, you. We like to describe it as a thesis statement to an essay, or a muse for a painting or fashion collection, the catalyst that defines something larger.

A design narrative isn't just a fleeting trend or a whim; it's a deep dive into the why, weaving your personal inspirations and the unique story of your space into a design that's unequivocally yours. From local contexts to cherished personal artifacts, we brainstorm, vision, and meticulously plan to ensure the design resonates with its users and creates a meaningful connection.
Why do we lead with design narratives? Because they infuse every project with meaning, intention, and human connection.

Imagine a space that's not just a place, but a reflection of you – your journey, your brand, your heartbeat. At APD, we're passionate about turning that vision into reality, weaving your unique story into every corner of your space. Be it a restaurant, a boutique hotel, a meeting space or your kitchen, we dive deep and create narrative-driven designs that are full of meaning, intention and human connection.

We lead every project with a tried and tested design process that gets you from conceptualizing to physically walking into a transformed space.

Like any great relationship, it all starts with a connection. Reach out to set up a Complimentary Phone Date to see how we can create your story through interior design.

PALLADIAN FLOORS //

Palladian floors, inspired by Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, bring timeless beauty and craftsmanship into any space. Made from luxurious stones like marble, limestone, and granite, their geometric patterns add a classic touch.

Our Mediterranean-inspired Powder Room features a unique Palladian stone floor, vintage marble vanity, copper backsplash, and a smart toilet. We worked with amazing partners like TOTO, Aquavato, and APEX Stone Fabrication to blend tradition with modern luxury. Want more design stories and inspiration?
