Curbless showers don’t start with tile—they start in framing.
We dropped the floor here to allow for proper slope, waterproofing, and a seamless transition. This is one of those details that has to be designed in early… not figured out later on site.

Taller baseboards do elevate a space—no question.
But instead of paying for oversized boards,
we’ll often build the height visually.
Standard baseboard + a small gap + a slim trim detail above,
all painted the same colour = a taller, more custom look.
Same effect, more control, and a bit of savings without sacrificing the design.
This is where detailing matters.

Low-iron glass isn’t a luxury upgrade — it’s a clarity decision.
Standard glass has a green undertone that distorts everything behind it.
Tile, stone, grout… all of it shifts.
If you’re designing a bathroom with light finishes, this matters more than you think.
It’s one of those details you don’t notice… until it’s wrong.

Not every bathroom needs to be bright to feel beautiful.
A moody bathroom moment layered with deep burgundy tones, Calacatta Viola porcelain, black zellige, and penny tile for contrast and texture. Proof that an eclectic space can still feel elevated when every finish speaks to each other.
