Taking a short pause from the studio while hubby sorts out some electrical issues in the basement reno ⚡
He swears it’ll only be a couple of days before I can put everything back together and get creating again. In the meantime… bonus score: piles of old electrical wire perfect for plant tags🌱♻️
We’re also one step closer to the day we can finally renovate the actual studio! I’m not going to miss the orange and brown Berber one bit!! First up though: laundry room overhaul and a new guest room, washroom, and wet bar.
Can’t wait for the day I can invite clients in, hand them a cappuccino (or something cold), and create together in a space that’s finally finished.

This old tile still has a few stories left to tell.

These vintage tiles spent decades on the walls of an old motel bathroom before finding their way to my studio.

Now they’re living a very different life.

Blessed by the gorgeous morning sun pouring through my dusty studio windows this morning ☀️
These two mosaic trays are headed for grout and couldn’t be more different. One’s a cheerful daisy in soft whites & greens, the other’s got that earthy geometric vibe. Both are rocking beautiful salvaged ceramic tiles generously gifted by some seriously talented makers I’ve met at markets.
Cheers to a new season, reconnecting with the good ones, and making new friends while doing what I love.

🐑 I’m so excited to be vending again! After spending the whole winter creating (and hiding) in my studio, I now have my best and fullest selection yet - including lots of fresh spring pieces perfect for your home or garden.

You asked for a counter size option, and we heard you.

Finally, a proper counter-size mosaic tray, hand-built from reclaimed wood, stained and sealed, and headed straight into the tiling stage.

Studio shot: this little beauty (and friends) getting their finish before the good stuff begins. I’m obsessed with the black mountain scene right now, but get it while you can because I’m ready for some colour again!
