This prevents regret. ⤵️
Almost every kitchen layout I review is missing at least one of the 3 things I’d consider non-negotiable.
And the wild part?
❌ They’re not fancy.
❌ They’re not expensive.
❌ They’re not “designer secrets” you need a degree to understand.
They’re the basic layout decisions that determine whether your kitchen actually works once you’re living in it.
Because a pretty kitchen can still be annoying.
You can have gorgeous cabinets, beautiful stone, perfect lighting, and still end up with a kitchen where:
👉 Your counters are always cluttered.
👉 People are constantly in your way.
👉 The sink, fridge, stove, storage, and prep zones don’t actually support how you cook.
👉 The space looks good in photos but feels awkward in real life.
That’s why I use my 3 kitchen layout must-haves before getting distracted by finishes, colours, or cabinet styles.
They help you check whether your kitchen has the right flow, function, and everyday usability before construction locks everything in.
And honestly, you might be surprised to realize your current plan is missing one.
Comment KITCHEN and I’ll send you the checklist.
