2025 featured sketching in many odd places, building bonfires that may have been a tad too big, sharing many laughs with the most wonderful people, and most importantly, all of it was alongside the lovely ❤️ I’m looking forward to 2026 where my pottery obsession will be taking me to Japan for the very first time 🇯🇵🏺

2025 featured plenty of sketching in odd places, building bonfires that may have been a bit too big, sharing many laughs with friends and family and most importantly, it was all alongside ❤️ thank you for such a beautiful year. I’m looking forward to 2026 where my pottery obsession will be taking me to Japan for the very first time 🇯🇵🏺

New glaze and slip combinations! Swipe to check them out! Each mug, bowl, and cortado cup are made of red stoneware clay with white stoneware brush strokes. I was interested in seeing how different glazes appear on the clay beneath it. First is a clear glaze with the most striking contrast. Second is a semi transparent green glaze called Garbo Green. Third is called Chestnut which looks almost purple with this clay! Which is your favourite?

On this morning’s run, I combined three things I love: running, drawing, and this city. I guess four things if you count my interest in maps! 😅 I paused my workout at certain points along my neighbourhood route to draw out the letters spelling “Toronto”.

I sort of felt like I was on an episode of my favourite kid’s tv show Art Attack, drawing out something with my stride as a camera high in the sky records my moves.
