Just a reminder to parents:

Creative Kids application deadline is Friday May 23rd to receive up-to $750 in funding for cooking classes for children 4 years old to 19 years old.

For all parents who have received funding this last year:
This is the first application date of Creative Kids “year”, so if you received funding in 2024 it’s time to reapply.

For new families:
If you apply online on their website and are approved Creative Kids will provide up-to $750 per child per year in funding for cooking classes. The online application link is above and only takes a few minutes to apply.

For those of you who don't know I am a Service Provider for Creative Kids Saskatchewan. Creative Kids provides funding for cooking classes for families with children 4yrs old to 19 years old who apply and qualify. Each child may receive up to $750 per year in funding.

Creative Kids Saskatchewan's next application deadline is December 4th.

Our Cooking Class Chefs have spoken and here are the requested recipes and schedule for our group cooking classes for the rest of 2024.

Registration is now being accepted for our Group Cooking Classes for children/youth 3-19 years old.

It’s back to school for most- good luck everyone I hope you learn a whole lot, make new friends, and make memories to last a lifetime!!

Cooking classes will resume throughout the year with even more new and delicious recipes. The new schedule will be out this week!

There are still a couple of spaces available in August Cooking Classes for everyone 3 years old and up. Parent participation is not required but if you’d like to cook with us as a group you are more than welcome. Only chefs who are cooking are allowed in the kitchen for safety reasons.

You have a choice of signing up for individual classes or the entire week of classes.

Cost: $61.05 including taxes
Ages: ALL AGES
Where: WA WA Shriners at 2065 Hamilton Street

Dates, Time, and what we are making:

- Sunday August 4th -3:30pm- Chocolate Lasagna

- Monday August 5th -3:30pm- Flower Cupcakes

- Tuesday August 6th -3:30pm- Orange Creamsicle Cookies

- Wednesday August 7th -3:30pm- Unbaked Cookies

- Thursday August 8th -3:30pm- Your choice of flavour Homemade Ice Cream

- Monday August 26th -3:30pm- Caesar Chicken Bake with Butter Parmesan Pasta

- Tuesday August 27th -3:30pm- Taco Soup

- Wednesday August 28th -3:30pm- Corndog Muffins

- Thursday August 29th -3:30pm- Lasagna

-Friday August 30th -3:30pm- Pizza from Scratch with your choice of toppings

Cost includes all of the ingredients, tools, and supplies needed for the recipes, 2 1/2 hours of cooking and meeting new friends, a copy of every recipe we make, and to help us from getting too hot when we are working hard in the kitchen some slushies to quench our thirsts. Children just need to bring a large container to take their goodies home in.

No refunds on classes. If you are unable to attend you can send someone else of similar age in your spot.

Our group classes this summer are a bit smaller so everyone gets more one-on-one time and so it’s not too overwhelming for the children who are shy.

It's a great time to learn some new skills, make some delicious food and treats, and make awesome friends!

If you are unable to attend the full 5 day camp session but there are odd classes you would like to attend you can private message me to see if there is a space available in that specific class.

All you need to bring is a large plastic container with a lid. Each child makes approx. 3-4 servings
