“Sometimes, life has a way of pulling us in directions we don’t expect.
Over the past two years, I’ve stepped away from my business. The truth is, life threw me some curveballs that I wasn’t fully prepared for and I feel I owe an explanation to everyone after it took such a toll on my business after working so hard to build it.
In 2023, I went through an unexpected separation while I was 4 months pregnant with Payton, having to sell our home and move to a temporary living situation one month before having her, Payton being born unresponsive and being rushed to the London NICU, having to put my fur baby to rest after a sudden and difficult battle with cancer two weeks after having my daughter, travelling to London every other day for one month to see my daughter while my son was back home, finally bringing her home and juggling all her appointments with 8 different specialists to try and give her the most normal life possible, finishing it off with another move back to Southampton. All the trips to specialists’, therapy at home and appointments finally led to a diagnosis of mild-moderate Cerebral Palsy in August 2024 for Payton. All of these events, on top of still coping with the loss of my son in 2022, required me to step back, breathe, and prioritize what truly matters.
I’ve always believed in showing up authentically, and I want to share this because I know many of you can relate to seasons where life feels heavier than usual. It’s in these moments that we find resilience, perspective, and clarity.
I’ve been working on rediscovering my passion for design while also allowing myself the grace to heal, grow, and reflect. This time away has reminded me of the importance of connection, vulnerability, and balance—and I’m so excited to reconnect with all of you.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support—it means more than words can express. I’m looking forward to sharing the upcoming changes and connecting with you in meaningful ways.
Here’s to new beginnings, growth, and showing up even when it feels hard. 🤍
If you’re going through a tough season, just know you’re not alone, and brighter days are ahead.”
