FYI I am horrible at making videos! Probably because I don’t watch many myself BUT I know majority of people prefer them so here is my attempt from my bus ride home from work today… it’s not pretty or trucked out with AI because I don’t know how to use that either 🤭

I’m working away through a bundle of designs and trying to manage the inbox as well… I did receive over 30 photos in the last few days so it’s taking a bit longer to process all the updates. Please stay patient with me ✌️

*UPDATE*
I have about another 48 or so messages to answer, my inbox is overflowing and as all solopreneurs can tell you in busy seasons (like graduation is for me) there are times when one must decide to design/make the things or answer the messages 😬

I want you to know I’m not ignoring you, I do know I’ve had the worse luck with missing FB messages which is why I wanted to post and let everyone know that it’s me that’s creating the delay on answering/updating everyone (not technology this time). I will be aiming to answer all messages by tonight after work as I have booked a few hours of vacation today to tackle my inbox while I am waiting for an appointment 👍

If you’ve messaged and haven’t heard back by tonight please send another one… with how fast messages and new order requests are coming in this inbox is always shuffling and I have low trust on not losing messages in here.

Since messenger is different for everyone a little recap on my inbox is that messages don’t show up on my inbox BUT instead sit in limbo… most times I find them when someone posts a comment on my post to say they messaged and when I click on their name I can see the previous messages that were not in the inbox. The other issue is that many messages go straight to my completed folder for some reason but I’ve made a habit of always going through the “done folder” every few days to find anyone I haven’t seen before to hopefully help with this.

Also a reminder is that I do work Monday-Friday from 8-4 on site so that means limited access to my messages during these hours. I used to have an auto reply with the info so people knew but was advised that some issues with missing messages were caused by the auto reply so it seems I’m at 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other 🥸

So yes I have a few favorite seasons… Christmas and Grad for sure!! But also NHL HOCKEY PLAYOFF SEASON!

One of these teams is going to bring home the cup this year… who are you rooting for??

Born on the east coast I’ve been a Montreal fan growing up but now I’m an Albertan since I’ve now lived here 25 years (moved out at age 21) so I’m obviously an Oilers fan too! OK I’m probably going to be on 2 bandwagons to stay balanced for a little bit 🤭

HOW IT’S GOING VS. HOW IT STARTED 💞

5 years ago my fist baby was graduating during the pandemic and we knew there was a high chance of no official celebrations for her big milestone… so I decided to buy a large format printer and try my hand at making some signs to surprise her and her friends with something different!
I was working on the 2026 designs for the schools and decided to add her photo in for the design example 😍 And then I realized it all started in March 2021 and had to go take a look at my original design… I think I’ve learned a thing or two since then but grad season is still one of my favorites for personalized gifts!

Stay tuned for the other school designs! I’m also printing this weekend to have some of the new items I’m making ready to see as well 😊

🎓SNEAK PEEK🎓

Lots of questions coming in for the grad items I create each year and I wanted to quickly post an update on the gift catalog that is in progress and almost finished. More pictures to come and then I’ll upload the brochure for everyone which will have examples for gift designs for each school 🎊

This is my 6th year creating personalized gifts and it’s definitely become my favorite season for creativity! 🎓

I'm still in awe of the precious time I got to share with my mom before she passed away last week. I'll be forever grateful for those 3 weeks in December when we laughed, chatted, and created some amazing memories. Although her recovery from pneumonia last month was short-lived, I'm so thankful for the time we had together. Even though I didn't get to say goodbye in person, I believe everything happened for a reason - including the 23 flight changes that led me to Halifax instead of Sydney.

I've returned to Fort McMurray, but my creative spark has definitely been dimmed. To help reignite it, I'll be taking time to focus on my own designs and ideas and letting inspiration guide me for upcoming occasions.
