There’s something so special about working with a repeat client. 🤎 This time, Lydia and I got to bring chocolate mocha shears into this beautiful space — layering in warmth and privacy without losing a drop of that gorgeous natural light.

But this project went beyond window treatments. I had the joy of helping Lydia select furniture and artwork, and we styled the space together from top to bottom. Getting to know a client’s taste over multiple projects (I worked on her previous home too!) makes the whole process feel like a true partnership, built on trust.

A new home is such a beautiful celebration of new beginnings, and I’m so grateful Lydia trusted me to be part of hers — again. The result? A living room that feels layered, moody, and completely *hers*. Cozy, elevated, lived-in luxury. 😍

I have that design bestie who when we were starting out in adulthood with kids and hubbies, we would spend hours dreaming up what we would do to our homes and how we could do it on a dime!
When I am having consultations with my clients this is where I like to be - enjoying the process, geeking out over undertones in the fabrics. Taking a whole picture look at what they are trying to achieve and how the window treatments will play into the vision and life of a deeply personal space. It’s something that I always honoured to be apart of.🏡🙌🏼🖤

Throwback to this Heartheld Magazine feature 😍 Annette redesigned her whole condo — we came in for the shutters!

Her ensuite, dining, and kitchen windows all face an interior atrium, so she wanted full privacy in those spots without losing her elegant “Contemporary French” vibe. Shutters were the move — classy, easy to clean, total statement piece 🤍

Love being part of a home with this much heart.

This install had me SO excited you guys 🙌 Roller shades with side panels to minimize that light halo around the edges — cuts down on those gaps without fully blocking them out. Added a power wand system too so it’s effortless to use every day.

But honestly the best part? The husband’s reaction when he walked in and saw it finished. “Holy sh*te.” 😂 That’s the reaction I live for.

When a client loves their window coverings so much they keep coming back for more — that’s the best kind of compliment. 🤍 Stan & Leanne started with their main rooms and fell so in love with the motorized system and how the fabric hugged their main room. A year later we added the master bedroom and ensuite. It’s always a joy returning to a home that truly appreciates the difference beautiful window coverings make. ✨
