I'm still in Scotland for family, and our wee farm shop continues to be closed for now. Still creating though - here's a few other bits of needle felting and wire wrapping I've been experimenting with.
The bracelets will eventually be in our shops. Needle felted beasties might take a bit longer. Wee moosie took many hours to make 🐭

We've been incommunicado for a bit and it will continue for a bit more, so our shops will all remain closed for now.
I can't sit and do nothing though, so I taught myself to needlefelt while sitting with my lovely dad in hospice in Scotland, making the bigger snowman on the right, finishing his hat by Dad's bedside once he got home. So he is a very special snowman.
The other snowman I made for our daughter as we give her a snowman every year at Christmas, and the British robin is a favourite bird of mine. Needlefelting is very therapeutic, but is painful if I get tired, miss the wool and stab my fingers instead.

Al and I are working on potential projects to offer in classes, to make at home or to purchase as finished items.
Here's a prototype Al designed - A Countdown to Christmas with Santa.
Finished Santa will be losing the hotlips but will be essentially the same, with a ribbon to hang on your tree. We also have a reindeer in progress and some others in the works too.

Our little farm shop will be open this weekend, on Sunday and Monday from 10am to 5pm. On Saturday, I will be at the Mulhurst Bay Farmers Market, 11am to 3pm.
We will have a limited amount of garlic for sale as it is still mostly hanging to cure, plus our usual garlic products and handcrafted items created with metal, fibre, and wood.
Twa Dugs Farm is a few miles west of Warburg, AB.

How we spent our weekend!
Our 3rd time at this great Scottish Festival. Thank you again to the organisers and all who stopped by our tent, especially those who purchased something. We do love to talk about and promote my homeland 🙂

Al's family reunion took place this past weekend, and he made these lovely wooden coasters, especially for the silent auction.
We also made a garlic gift box for the auction, containing some of our garlic products - garlic powder, garlic dip mix and garlic pork rub.
Thank you to those who bid on and purchased these items! We hope you enjoy them 🙂

We had a very busy but fun weekend working the Pigeon Lake Medieval Madness event this past weekend at Lakedell. Here's a few promised photos.
Kayleigh and I managed away from our tent for half an hour to watch some jousting and a quick look at the blacksmiths working, but didn't get time to see the medieval re-enactors village which I'm told was excellent, or the knights fighting, or the Black Creek Pony Club mounted games displays but we had a great view from our tent in the artisan market building of the costume competitions (fantastic costumes everywhere!) and met so many interesting and friendly people.
The vibe was so fun and happy, it was a great event. We look forward to next year's already!
Thank you to all who stopped by our tent, and big special thank you if you purchased any of our creations!
And a huge "Huzzah!" to Maryann Nomann the creator and organiser.
