Sometimes the most stunning transformations start with a complete blank slate.

This Canmore bathroom renovation was completely demo’d before being thoughtfully redesigned from the ground up. The result is a bright, functional, spa-inspired retreat featuring a luxurious soaker tub, floor-to-ceiling glass shower, double vanity, custom storage solutions, and a layout designed to make everyday living feel just a little more special.

Every detail was carefully planned to maximize both beauty and function, creating a space that feels timeless, inviting, and built to last.

The best part of every renovation isn’t the tile, the fixtures, or the finishes, it’s seeing our clients walk into their completed space and absolutely love where they live.

Thinking about renovating your bathroom in Canmore or the Calgary area? We’d love to help bring your vision to life.

A lot of vision. A lot of expertise.

This Canmore kitchen went from a full gut to a complete transformation — custom cabinetry, new flooring, tile, and countertops brought together seamlessly.
It may feel like a magic wand moment… but it’s really just the right team, doing things the right way. The best part? Seeing our clients walk in and say, “This is exactly what we hoped for.”

Thinking about your own renovation? Let’s talk.

Good tile work is all about the details.

Today on our latest renovation site, our tile installer is setting the grout and using spacers to ensure every tile lines up precisely. Those small spacers might look simple, but they’re essential for creating clean grout lines and a finished look that feels balanced and professional.
Precision during tile installation makes all the difference. When the layout is planned properly and every tile is aligned with care, the finished surface looks seamless, durable, and built to last.
This is the stage where craftsmanship really shows.
Another step forward in this home renovation, and we’re looking forward to seeing the full transformation come together.

Swipe ➡️ to see the progress of this Canmore kitchen renovation from full demolition to where the project stands today.

Every beautiful renovation begins with the messy stage of removing what’s outdated so something better can take its place. Cabinets, countertop, a tile, and flooring came out during demo, giving us a clean slate to rebuild this space with thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and careful project management. Countertops went in today and it’s already making such a difference in the overall look of the space! ✨

At Riverstone Kitchens & Renovations, we guide every step of the process from demolition and layout planning to custom cabinetry installation and finishing details. Our goal is always the same: a renovation experience that feels organized, respectful of your home, and built to last.

We’re excited to see this Canmore project continue to take shape! Stay tuned for the transformation.

Meanwhile at 12:14 AM our brain is running with aaaaallll the things:

✅ Meet client for cabinet, countertop, and flooring selections

✅ Remember to confirm appliance specs

✅ Confirm the quartz slab reserved

✅ Are cabinet fillers adjusted for that wall that’s never square?

✅ Update electrical for the pot filler

✅ I need a new miter saw 🛠️

✅ Are we still on schedule for template day?

✅ Confirm tile selections with tiler

…and then there’s …

✅ Five Guys. 🇨🇦 Because custom kitchen renovations require fuelling a lot of mental bandwidth. 💪🏼

Here’s the thing most homeowners don’t see:
When you hire the right renovation company, you’re not just paying for cabinets. You’re paying for:
Precision
Coordination
Problem-solving
Contingency planning
Timeline management
And yes… we’ll throw in the occasional Five Guys stop together.

If you’re planning a kitchen renovation in Calgary and want a team that thinks 10 steps ahead (even at midnight), send us a message. We’ll handle the overthinking while you enjoy the finished kitchen. 🤩🥳Built with intention. Managed with precision.

We’ve got lots going on behind the scenes here in Canmore. Things have been moving along nicely and the countertop has been perfectly fitted for the custom cabinetry coming in. We’re excited to see the countertop installation happening soon! It always makes such an impact on a space!

During demo, we uncovered the original blueprints for this home, along with a Sears receipt dated 1987! 🤯

Moments like this are more than nostalgic. They’re educational.

Original plans tell us:
• How the home was framed
• What structural changes were made
• Where mechanical systems were originally placed
• How layouts have evolved over time

Understanding a home’s history helps us renovate intelligently not blindly.

Before removing walls, adjusting layouts, or redesigning kitchens, we look at the structure of what was built before us. That’s how you avoid costly structural mistakes and protect the integrity of the home.

Renovation isn’t just demolition. It’s investigation. It’s planning. It’s respecting craftsmanship from decades past.

Calgary and Canmore homes built in the 80s were designed differently than today and knowing that matters. Smart renovations start with understanding what’s behind the walls. What a treat to see these original blueprints!

It’s electrical day today in Canmore and we’ve accomplished a lot! Super proud of how it’s going! We even managed to find some special treats in the wall today! Drop your guesses to what we found in the comments before you watch and stay tuned to the end to hear what it was! 🏠

Demo Day 2 in Canmore and the transformation is officially underway.

The cabinets are out. The wall tile is removed. Now we’re carefully lifting the existing kitchen floor tile to prepare for what’s coming next.

Behind every beautiful renovation is a clean, controlled demolition process. We’ve sealed off the workspace with full dust containment and poly walls to protect the rest of the home because a professional renovation doesn’t mean living in chaos.

At Riverstone Kitchens & Renovations, we manage every phase with precision from demolition to custom cabinetry installation so your renovation experience is organized, respectful, and expertly handled.
This is how high-quality kitchen renovations begin.
Canmore renovation. Calgary craftsmanship. Built to last.

We’ve wrapped up Day 1 of our latest Canmore reno! The client asked to join us in the initial demo and he had a blast making room for the new kitchen coming his way! 🥳

Despite today’s blizzard and fresh windy blanket of snow, we managed to tackle everything off of today’s demo list. We love to make sure we leave the job site clean and in good order for the clients, but it also makes it fresh and ready for us to get back at it in the morning! Thankful to have made it safely to and from the mountains today, but secretly I don’t mind a good driving challenge! 😏
