The natural light in the studio on overcast days is our favorite light to work with and we even turn the overhead lights off to create some moody magic.
We also had new serving platters, a new style of mini dish and a new lichen blue glaze to shoot so it was all perfectly aligned to capture all the elements together.
And, the citrus journey also continues. This Buddha's hand is the most beautiful citron yellow and the studio is fragrant with floral notes. We've managed to candy much of this citron and have made a Korean based preserve called cheong (청) which will sit for 100 days and hopefully pull out much of its delicate flavours.
