After many years of making teapots I decided to make one for myself. Come and take a journey with me.

Super Bowl? Yeah, of course, here it is 🌟

carbon trap shino with chun over top, reduction fired at the gas kiln close to a year ago. This is one of my favourite bowls and I use it just about every day 🥰

January was a wild month for us 🌟🥰🥵

We signed the rental contract on our new (to us) house in Powell River a couple days before Christmas and started packing everything up once the holidays were over. It all happened very swiftly- I emailed one landlord on Craigslist, pestered him again with a follow up email, and then we got the place. I was prepared for months of back and forth viewings and tomfoolery. None of that happened which is unimaginably lucky 🍀

It feels bizarre that in 2026 I have made zero pots so far. Moving both our home and my studio has taken quite a bit of time and energy. All the electrical for the kiln has been completed for the basement studio and the kiln is now waiting for me. I am eager to get back on the wheel 👹💕

Saturday’s moving sale really blew my doors off 💨
I was about to pour my coffee into my studio mug when folks started showing up. The studio was filled with people at 11:00. I wasn’t able to pop my head up from my little wrapping station until 1:30 and by that point a friend bought the mug I was planning on drinking out of 😂💜

I appreciate everyone who came by to wish me well and say goodbye. I appreciate everyone who bought some pots from me. The pottery load has been lightened significantly: I have around 30 pots left 🤯 I really can’t believe it.

I feel really good as I move into this next chapter of my life, it’s a big change and I can’t wait to see what is next. Thank you for all the support Vancouver, I’ll miss you 🤗

Studio Moving Sale is coming up this Saturday, January 17th, 11-5. I’ll have a real medley of ceramics available, all 20% off 🆒🫡🎈

The bins of “pay what you want” pots keep growing. You can find odd pots, one offs, old pots, pots I am tired of looking at, and pots with unusual defects in these bins. Come and get a deal. Address in the second slide.

Some folks have asked me about if any equipment or materials are for sale and the answer is no. I am moving, not retiring 🥲👵🏼

We are moving to the Sunshine Coast at the end of this month 💓 Alex and I visited Powell River this summer and we loved it. We have rented a house and are looking forward to having more space, including a garden 🌱 I am ready for a zero minute commute to my new basement studio.

There will be one final blowout studio sale before we make the big move. Everything will be marked down and I will have the “Pay What You Want” bin of seconds/samples/uggos ready for you. Please don’t make me take all these pots on the ferries 🥲⛴️

I’m grateful for all the support of received over the last many years in Vancouver 🥹 My online shop will continue to be active and y’all can get pots there in the future 📦💌 I intend to journey back to Vancouver for the odd market here and there so it isn’t really goodbye, just a see you later 🤙🙂‍↕️

2025 might not of been my favourite year, but time is a gift and I am grateful for all of it 🥰 🤙🙂‍↕️

Thank you to everyone who bought a pot from me, took a class with me, fired a kiln with me, commissioned a piece, yapped with me at a market, yapped with me at the studio, or placed a wholesale order.

My constant joy in life is getting very mucky in the studio and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. There will be some big changes for me in 2026 and I can’t wait 💓🔮🤗🐸

Here is a set of dishes that came out of the kiln right before Christmas. I really love the depth and variation of this green glaze. It’s mossy and swampy in all the best ways 💚

I had fun stacking all the mugs 🤗

I’ve got lil mugs and big mugs available now on my website, as seen here. Local pick up at my studio is still an option. If you want to pop by and see a bunch of pots you can dm me or email me, please note that my response times are leisurely 🥰😴

You can find me walking over to Kingsgate Mall every second day with packages to mail within Canada and there is still a bit of time for the pots to be shipped pre Christmas 💌 Thank you for all the support this month both online and in person, I am filled with gratitude 🤗
