There is a particular kind of exhaustion that doesn’t come from doing too much. It comes from constantly measuring yourself against what is happening around you.

The next thing.
The next achievement.

The noise can become so familiar that we forget there is another voice underneath it. Our own. The one that knows what feels right. What matters. What we truly want when no one is watching. Maybe this is one of the quiet gifts of rest. Not simply recovering from a busy day, but creating enough space to hear ourselves again.

There’s something beautiful about a room that is slowly taking shape. Britt is creating her dream bedroom with an intent. Not filling it for the sake of filling it, but letting it take shape naturally, one considered piece at a time. The kind of room that feels like an exhale at the end of a long day. A place to retreat, recharge, and simply be.

A few days in Mexico City 🇲🇽

One of those cities that seems to reveal a little more around every corner — beautiful architecture, incredible food, art, colour and neighbourhoods that invite you to simply wander.

A few places we loved:

• Museo de Arte Moderno
• Casa Azul — Frida Kahlo’s home
• Mercado de Coyoacán
• Rosetta
• Ling Ling
• Museo Soumaya + Museo Jumex in Polanco

This is by no means a complete guide — just a few of the places that made our trip memorable.
