127 days.
The number of days since I’ve been in the shop, the longest stretch since starting this journey in 2019. 😮
Sometimes, we just need a break from creating, even when it’s hard to step away. Fellow artists, you know the feeling, life, travels and a little reset can do wonders. Getting back at it today felt really good. 💃
When I saw this wall piece that I had started last summer, I was surprised the colors of the patina had changed so much. The hammered copper kept evolving, more reds, less turquoise.
Normally, once I’m happy with the color, I seal it to lock it in…but I did not. Scroll back to my previous post to see where it started. You see the color change, right?!
So now I’m curious, do you prefer the earlier turquoise tones, or these warmer red tones? I may have to work some magic to get those blues back. Let me know below. ⬇️
This dark walnut and hammered copper piece is two separate panels that are mirror images. It is available and there’s still time for a custom tweak to make it perfect for your space. DM me to make it yours!
