A Gnome Hiding in the Autumn Leaves

What you need: A lightweight oval wreath form, flexible cardstock, natural burlap, one wooden ball, artificial autumn leaves in several shapes and colors, a few berry and dried grass stems, floral wire, ribbon, scissors and hot glue.

How to make it: Cover the lower and side portions of the wreath form with overlapping leaves, pointing their tips downward to form a full beard. Roll the cardstock into a tall cone, cover it with burlap and secure its base to the upper part of the wreath. Attach the wooden ball beneath the hat brim as the nose. Add a small berry and grass accent, fasten a hanging ribbon to the back, and adjust the leaves until the wreath form is hidden from the front.
