🎉 IT’S FAIR WEEK! 🎉
After months of planning and preparation, we can finally say it - the 158th Saanich Fair opens THIS SATURDAY! 🌻🐴🎡
The Fairgrounds are a VERY busy place right now! Our staff and many, many volunteers (THANK YOU!!❤️) are hard at work setting up, preparing displays, getting buildings and grounds ready and tackling all those last-minute details that go into welcoming thousands of people through the gates on Fair weekend.
And we have lots to be excited about this year!
🌻 Our exhibit entries numbers are up from last year in several departments! We can't wait to see the flowers, produce, baking, preserves, arts, crafts and all the incredible things our community has been busy growing, making and creating.
🐴 Our Small but Mighty mini horses are ready for their big weekend, along with horse shows, animal displays and all kinds of agricultural activities throughout the Fairgrounds.
🎶 There are 21 bands and entertainers on two stages, plus the midway, Tiny Town & Kids Zone, great Fair food, our Saturday and Sunday Pancake Breakfast and LOTS more happening over the three days.
🚗 And here's something new that we hope you'll appreciate at the END of your Fair day! We've divided our parking lot into three themed areas - Orchard & Berry Patch, Animals and Harvest - with matching signs throughout the parking rows to help you remember where you left your car. Because after a full day at the Fair, “I'm pretty sure we parked over there somewhere...” isn't much help. 😂
