What is “Home”?!
Looking at the home quilt block mug made me think of the concept of home, growing up, and who/what/where *feels* like home.
I will spare you the lengthy paragraphs on moving around when growing up and how that changes what can feel like home. On life without my dad for over a decade and how that ties to home. On why and how making my home a beautiful cozy place to be is like the mother hobby umbrella to my many hobbies: daily mugs and dinnerware (ahem), sewing, gardening, making furniture, making and collecting art and so much more…

The online shop has been updated! There are lots of mugs - new quilt mugs in the classic style, the favs in the comfort style, magnetic pin dishes, bud vases for your spring blooms, a few splatterware bowls, etc!

Unloaded a kiln full of splatterware so I added a few bowl styles to the pre-order🌀♦️
I will have these bowls with me at the Ichigo market on Sunday!
If you want a serving or breakfast bowl in red email me! I don’t have samples yet so that’s why they aren’t up. New glazes are so fun and just kinda going with the wind here im a not like my type A self way at all soooo sorry for the lack of organization?! Hopefully you’re in for the ride too!

I introduced these splatterware mugs via stories the other day and based on your lovely responses I thought I’d open a pre-order for them! The green isn’t available yet as I need to test again to see if I can get a better result on the green splatters but red and blue are a go!!

The Strawberry Magnetic Pin dish deserves a permanent spot on the grid because obviously - they are too cute!
Available now .sewing.club of course and later this month at the Ichigo market and online.
Featuring my house blocks that I need to sew up into a quilt asap - only need about 5 more block?

Who here is a garment sewist? A quilter? A newbie?! Tell me by voting :)

The magnetic pin dishes are restocked at my fav place in Victoria, the one and only .sewing.club !!
This round there are 3 new colour-ways: Tortoise Shell, Green Enamel Splatter-ware and a Vintage Strawberry Decal! Not to worry we also did a cpl classics like Cherry Gloss, Cobalt of course, and Sakura pink will be restocked very soon as well.

As always thank you to Erin for the collab and continuously re-stocking these and the lovely team at the sewing club - it is a joy anytime I step foot in the shop✨

I will be a vendor again this year at the Strawberry Ichigo Market in Fernwood🍓
This year different vendors are curated for each day and I will be there on Sunday the 31st! I will of course have the classics and new things like quilt mugs, new magnetic pin dishes and who knows what else!

A slow yet beautiful start to the year. What a privilege to experience that right now.
My break extended itself to allow my hyper fixation with knitting to do its thing, see friends, walk by the ocean, bake a lot of cookies, allow my mind to wander, and start craving making pots again! A blessing and a curse to be self employed and allow those extensions to happen. I have been in the studio, just a lot slower. Started with a few things to tackle and on to the last cpl pre-orders I have on the schedule right now then I will work on the quilt collection I dreamed up during the holidays and the new objects in new glazes I have been inspired to make.
Hope you have been taking care of yourself, your loved ones and community.

The Cobalt Comfort Mug - a forever classic.
A fan favourite, a nod to Matisse, the greek rooftops, the sky and the ocean.
Pairs up well with pretty much any other colour - add it alongside your neutrals for a bold pop of colour or to create fun combos with any hue from your colourful cupboards.

Just restocked a few on the website! For the Vancouver folks a whole crew of them should be on the shelves at in the next few days 💙.

There are still a fair amount of beautiful ceramics to choose from on the site, and enough time to make it for Christmas! The Diner Mug is a winner if you ask me - such a fun item to pair up in a myriad of colour combos since they stack - swipe for more colour combos to inspire you!
