I have been invited to take part at a small Christmas Market here in Vulcan, on Nov 28th. So this past weekend was all about thinking what items to create that will hopefully be popular & sell. I completed this Christmas Yule Log on Sunday. Several of these centrepieces will be on sale in different sizes. Will post more details on the Christmas Market when I know more, and other Christmas creations as I complete them 🎄🧑‍🎄🎄.

So good to see how much money was raised by the Bragg Creek Foundation during this fund raising golf event. So honoured that I was asked to make the centrepieces and an arrangement, all of which were auctioned off for such a good cause.

This was a clear glass vase that I gave a white terracotta finish, decorated with burlap ribbon and florals. 8.5” tall x 4” wide. Will be on sale for $20 at the The Finer Things in Vulcan next week

Who knew this photo of the mirror with the feet reflection would become the focal point of my post 🤣, numerous direct messages telling me to either edit the feet out or delete the photo completely 😆. I always try to take the best photos I possibly can of all my creations, but for this one I had an idea, so I asked my hubby to take the photos for me. He was confused, as my camera takes better pics, but he agreed. Those are his feet, and even he ddn’t want them in the photo, but to his annoyance, I insisted! He took several photos for me to choose from, but the feet one made me smile & gave me the photo I wanted, and here is why. It’s coming up to 5 years since my hubby was given 3-5 years to live after being diagnosed with a rare incurable lung disease. He was told by his Specialist/Surgeon that if he had to work, he was to get out of construction & get a desk job, he would never be able to kayak & certainly would never hike in the mountains again! He was immediately scheduled for two 5 hour procedures on his lungs, he was told that at best it would help him breathe better for 18 months tops. Well, since those procedures he has been in remission, beating all the odds, still in construction, still kayaking and this weekend we are hiking in the mountains 😁💪💪💪. Thanks to an amazing Specialist and for my hubby’s f**k that attitude! So folks, the reflection of the feet photo is staying, & as much as we irritate each other at times 😜, I’m very grateful to still have him at my side ❤️ 🥰❤️
