Some people have a way of reminding us just how beautiful the rug hooking community is!

This morning I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful woman named Joyce. She came to find some wool to finish this rug hooking pansies project that someone had donated to a thrift store, and she took it upon herself to make sure that beautiful piece of work was completed. Joyce also brought along a stunning rug made by her mom, featuring beautiful roses that she completed to share with me also. What a special thing to do — to see a project left unfinished and choose to give it new life, honouring the time, love, and talent that someone had already poured into it. Thank you Joyce.. you made my day 🥰

This Thanksgiving, I’m feeling extra grateful for the little things, the beautiful people who support my small business, and the creativity that brings us all together.
Thank you for supporting my little fibre arts business, shopping small, coming to classes and hook-ins, and being part of this wonderful community. Every order, share, kind word, and visit means more than you know. 🧡
Wishing you and your families a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, good food, and a little time to enjoy the things that make your heart happy.

From our herd to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

There’s just something about a foggy September morning on the farm.
Quiet, peaceful, a little magical… and the perfect way to start the day with the alpacas. One of the beautiful things about farm life is the simple moments — fresh morning air, happy animals, and the reminder to slow down and appreciate what’s right in front of you. I feel so fortunate that even though I’m unable to keep my alpacas at my own property, I still get to enjoy these special mornings with them. ❤️
A little piece of farm life is good for the soul.
