I’m always looking for outdoor pieces that look beautiful, but can actually hold up to everyday life.

When we chose our lot and started building this house, we always knew there would eventually be a day when we’d turn our backyard into something really special. What I forgot was just how many little decisions come with a project like this 😅.

There are so many details you don’t think about until you’re actually in the middle of it, but watching everything slowly come together and seeing the vision we had years ago start to take shape makes it all worth it.

Still lots to do, but it’s finally starting to feel like the backyard we always imagined ✨

I’ve been wanting to give our coffee nook a subtle little refresh for ages, and it finally got its moment just in time for summer!

A few thoughtful styling pieces, a framed photo, and our new coffee machine made the space feel a little more intentional.

I love decorating with frames—they instantly make a space feel more personal. I also added my dream machine: the Ninja Luxe Cafe and it’s been such a game changer for easy cafe-style coffee right at home 🙌🏻☕️.

Safe to say this little coffee corner has officially become my favourite spot in the kitchen.

If you’ve been thinking about giving your home a subtle summer refresh, start with one little corner. Sometimes it’s the smallest updates that make the biggest difference.
