The #1 secret to making your flowers last twice as long? 🌿👇

Floral processing is an important part of floristry. We strip the leaves of each individual stem to ensure the water stays clean and the flower stays healthy. When leaves sit underwater, they breed bacteria, which blocks the stem and causes blooms to fade fast!

A few updates from us at Floralee Blooms!

We are back from vacay and the plants are starting to really take off!!

Our new website will be going LIVE next week on Monday July 20th at 10:00am!

We will be adding A La Carte options for weddings, Weekly Fresh Flower Bouquets and Bunches - with the option to subscribe and skip at your convenience.

We will also be at Catana Estate | Luxury Estate on July 25th and 26th showcasing our designs and taking lots of content pictures!

The flower stand is also in the process of getting ready for paint to be able to put out on the side of the road - we hope to have it ready for the start of dahlia season ! 🙌

When someone asks me what my favourite flower is I usually need to break it into seasons. And even then I can’t just say one 🫣

Spring time brings all the colour, fragrance and beauty back to life, is there a spring flower that gets you excited or brings back memories?

I LOVE all the flowers I shared in my video (stock, peony, ranunculus, foxglove, anemone) but I do have to say I really am obsessed with how long Ranunculus lasts in the vase (plus all the colours they come in!), one setback/positive for some is that they have no fragrance - which is why Stock is so good to add to bouquets! The scent is divine!! 🌷✨🩷

We had our 2nd ever event at on Saturday May 9th for MOM Fest.

My setup was smaller but I loved how it looked and I was able to stay nice and warm inside 🙌

I enjoyed meeting all the other vendors and community members that stopped at my booth. I learned a lot from the experience and the connections that I made with people coming all the way from London and many from Cambridge!

I’m very excited for some people to grow dahlias for the first time, or others who are losing their garden space next year and my zinnia seeds will be grown in their garden this year. It’s touching for me to be involved in people’s lives and be able to bring them beauty 💐

While I have no other events this month, we are in the process of finding more market events to attend locally - because I have been loving it!
