The last few months have been an emotional whirlwind. Losing my mom was one of the hardest things I've ever faced.

Picking up a paintbrush feels impossible without her, so my canvas remains blank. But I've also learned that grief can sometimes lead us down new paths, and as a creative, I needed a new outlet to navigate my grief.

With the help of my trusty sidekick, Shana Wipf, I wrote "Lenny's Goodbye"- a children’s book to help heal both myself and my kiddos (as well as other littles who are feeling big emotions). It's a sweet story about a brave little fox who loses her beloved Nana and embarks on a journey to remember her and keep her love alive.

Lenny's Goodbye is free for download today and tomorrow (Oct 8/9) for those with a Kindle and is also available in paperback for those without.

Patience is not a virtue for some of you 😆 The amount of messages I received after I posted that last reel - my lanta! Don’t worry, I love it!
