This is an introduction post for everyone interested in my page!treats.winnipeg

My name is Anna (Hanna), and I am from Belarus. Back home, I worked as a speech therapist and also combined it with working with a choir. A year ago, my family and I moved to Canada. Here, in my new life as an immigrant, I work as a kitchen assistant.

At the beginning of this year, I started making a very popular cookie from Belarus (and other former USSR countries) called Gorishki in this kitchen.

Gorishki translates from Ukrainian as "little nuts" because the cookie resembles the shape of a walnut. The filling can vary, but the classic version is caramel made from condensed milk. This combination is perfect! Not overly sweet, crumbly, and with just the right amount of filling!

It’s definitely worth a try!!!
