The before and the after. The crazy quilt square before ironing and being turned into a pillow. The pillow picture isn't that great but it was the best I could do at the end of the work day. It is stuffed with feathers enclosed in traditional blue and white striped ticking fabric. The back of the pillow is black velvet.

After yesterday's disappointment, I'm sharing good news today I'm pleased to be a vendor at the Christmas in New Maryland Vendor Craft Show on December 5. Market runs 9-2 pm. See you there!

I'm disappointed that I was not accepted as a vendor for the NBEX Christmas market in December.

I've been working on a few projects at work the past few weeks. Kings Landings has its annual auction coming up on Saturday October 10, 2 pm. The house I work in has been pickling vegetables to create Lady Ashburnham pickles, Chow Chow, bread and butter pickles and pickled baby beets. Also grape and apple jelly. My housemates have knit and sewed to created toys and dish cloths and doilies, and the blacksmith even created a captured heart puzzle to add to out crate. I did some watercolour note cards and book marks too. We just have to bake our ginger cake, date squares and snickerdoodle cookies to finish our auction crate. I also did a watercolour painting of the Hagerman House. It's been a busy few weeks. The cosmos having been blooming and have been pretty, brightening up our kitchen. Also these are the crazy wonderful team I work with. They have made this season so wonderful!!!
