I haven’t been knitting much this year, for weeks at a time even no knitting at all, but about a month ago I spotted the and decided to cast one on for myself. Progress has been slow but I‘ve kept close attention to not pressuring myself with quick progress and just knitting when I‘m in the mood for it (to build up some motivation for future projects and patterns).. 🤞

I‘m working with two strands of by in the shade Red Squirrel 🐿️ (what else - I know) and am working a bit off gauge (so the fit is tighter than intended by the designer) aaaand I also incorporated some waist shaping. Swipe to see a try-on! 🧶

Loving it so far and can‘t wait to wear it! 🥹

I‘m thrilled to finally share the news with you that my design, the Éimi Jacket, is part of this year‘s autumn issue. 🥹

The Éimi Jacket is an homage to my Irish roots and my great-grandmother Éimi who was an incredibly talented knitter.

The oversized cabled cardigan is knit in Donegal Tweed + by and features a variety of cables including a traditional Celtic knot motif on the back.

Preorders for Laine 26 are now open and I’m proud to be featured with Éimi alongside a beautiful collection of designs.

This past weekend I taught a class at on the Ellie Shirt and we took a deep dive into all of its details on techniques and sizing. The past years I never really had the time to look this closely at a pattern of mine that‘s already been published, so it was quite special to me. It is a very detailed pattern and I poured my soul into those little details, making sure they add up and look the same in all sizes. The grading sheet 🫣😂 I don‘t know the exact amount of hours I spent on this pattern, but I can remember ripping back MANY times trying to perfect all the details.

You‘ve shown the Ellie Shirt and Ellie Top so much love over the past years, so every minute of working on these patterns was worth it. I hope to see many more Ellies this year! 😍

This pattern kept me busy for quite some time last year, as both the dk weight and the fi*****ng weight version come with three different neckline options (V-Neck, O-Neck and U-Neck) in 18 sizes plus optional adjustments for a better fit. 🔥

Are you planning to knit Cleo this year? 😍 The only one that‘s missing in my wardrobe is a V-Neck one in fi*****ng weight and I think I might need that in navy blue for this summer! 🤭
