In a budget hotel, every square meter counts — but small rooms don’t have to feel small. With smart planning and custom furniture, you can turn compact spaces into relaxing, functional retreats.

Our Design Tips:
🛋 Functional Zoning – Separate sleeping, working, and storage areas without adding walls.
🪑 Custom Furniture – Wall-mounted desks, storage-integrated beds, and foldable seating maximize usable space.

Here are two beautifully designed micro hotels that prove our point.

Moxy Hotel Times Square
To save space inside the guest rooms at the Moxy Hotel Times Square in New York, design firm Yabu Pushelberg created custom camping-style furniture. Ranging between 150 to 350 square feet, each of the hotel’s rooms feature sleek, foldaway furnishings such as collapsible chairs and convertible bunk beds designed to cater to the modern traveler.

The Hoxton Paris
Nestled inside a converted 18th century mansion in the 2nd Arrondissement, The Hoxton Paris features 172 small-but-delightful guest rooms outfitted with luxe accents including herringbone floors and copper bath fixtures. And despite the elegant decor, the crowd and vibe at the hotel are just as cool as the rooms.

1️⃣ Layered Lighting – Combine warm ceiling lights, spotlights, and hidden LED strips.
