BROKIS returns to Design Nation 2026 in Kortrijk for the third time!

Join us on 15–16 October to discover our latest lighting designs and new additions to the BROKIS portfolio. Explore ARCADE, a versatile collection by Boris Klimek that combines playful design with endless possibilities for different interiors, alongside UNDER PRESSURE and STAR CLOUD, both presented in new versions. The presentation will also feature a striking composition of COMET and offer a sneak peek at the upcoming BEACON collection, inspired by Lee Broom’s captivating light installation and crafted from recycled BROKISGLASS.

Some moments are meant to be felt, not explained.
 
On Tuesday afternoon, light met sound, and BEACON became part of something truly extraordinary.
 
The powerful sound of the Low Brass Section of the Czech Philharmonic filled the square, while glass and light responded — creating a fleeting dialogue between music, space and emotion.
 
Set among Prague’s historic buildings, with the silhouette of Prague Castle in the distance, BEACON found its place within the city’s timeless landscape.

Tonight, BEACON illuminates Prague for the first time, officially unveiled in the presence of its creator, Lee Broom

The evening will take place in collaboration with the Czech Philharmonic, whose musical performance will bring BEACON to life as the installation responds live to the music.

A fleeting dialogue between light, sound and space, unfolding beneath the evening sky at Jan Palach Square.

BEACON will remain on view at Jan Palach Square throughout DesignBlok, until 11 October.

Our stand opens today from 1 PM during Professional Days, and from tomorrow, 7 October, it will also be open to the general public.

From glass waste to a monumental work of light.

BEACON by Lee Broom is made from 292 segments of BROKISGLASS — a material created from recycled glass waste at Janštejn Glassworks in the Czech Republic.

Glass fragments that might otherwise be discarded are collected, melted and transformed into new glass components, each carrying the unique character of the recycled material.

Through craftsmanship, precision and light, this recycled glass becomes something entirely new: a monumental installation designed to illuminate public space.

Now, BEACON is coming to Prague.

See it at Jan Palach Square from 6–11 October 2026, as part of DesignBlok.
