Lately, I find myself completely captivated by light, the way the sun filters through the branches, how it transforms ordinary moments into something magical. There is something deeply hopeful about light, and I wanted this piece to capture that feeling.

This cabinet was lovingly hand-painted using Dixie Belle Paint Company, with hundreds of vibrant brushstrokes layered to create a tree that seems to glow from within. The explosion of color represents life, growth, joy, and the beauty that can emerge even after the darkest seasons.

What I love about Black Moor is how unique it is .

The soil there is acidic and poor in nutrients, a challenging place for life. But somehow nature adapts, and the most remarkable plants grow there because of it. Real specialists of nature.

I find that incredibly inspiring. Beauty growing in conditions that seem impossible.

That feeling stayed with me and became part of this handpainted piece.

This handpainted furniture was inspired by the beautiful Black Moor , a place that has truly touched me with its quiet atmosphere, wild nature, and peaceful paths.

I wanted to capture the feeling of walking through it: the colors, the light, and the calmness it brings. Every brushstroke on this cupboard was painted by hand with a lot of heart and connection to this special landscape.

Hand-painted furniture with a piece of home and winter magic.

This project is especially close to my heart. I painted this winter landscape inspired by Kreuzberg ,a beautiful mountain near us that we have visited so many times through the years. Every season there has its own atmosphere, but winter always feels extra peaceful and full of color in its own quiet way.

For this piece, I wanted to create something full of movement, light, and emotion.

For the painting, I used paint from Dixie Belle Paint Company and worked in an impressionist inspired style, because it reflects my artistic voice the best.
