.artfair stop last Sunday.
Happy to see these beautiful embroider raffia textiles exposed. My dad has them at home and a book about it.
So good to discover the people culture as well (indigenous pygmy groups in the Congo region).

HI THERE👋🏾 // tomorrow is 🇨🇬 Independence Day and I thought of giving a quick intro.

My name is Pelny, I am the owner and Creative Director of WENZÉ - AFRICAN ART ONLINE]
A little backstory: I come from the Republic of Congo 🇨🇬 also called . Since my childhood, I am passionate about Art in different forms.
When I started earning my own money, I started collecting paintings🖼. Most of them in my collection come from Congolese artists (behind me Eric) because I haven’t had the chance to discover many African countries. Then when friends were coming to my apartment, they liked my paintings and some wanted me to sell that to them.
This is when I thought of reselling paintings on the shop I was visualizing for something creative and useful.
I launched in November 2018 while living in (thanks to for bringing my ideas for the visual identity to life).

One of my dreams is to actively participate in the artistic and cultural legacy of the 🇨🇬 and
at a bigger scale, by supporting Artists to make a living and educating people on Contemporary African Art.

Welcome to WENZÉ - AFRICAN ART ONLINE] , stick around because we have a great journey on the way, share to your passionate friends and lets build this together🤗🥳
