💫 Blooming of any Tillandsia is unique by itself, but blooming of Tillandsia Andreana is so beautiful.

💚🧡 The colors of the plant change from green to orange, and just after a couple of days, you see the bright red flower, so small, frigele and gentle. Imagine you wake up, and all your Tillandsias is blooming in the same time, breathtaking 😍

🤔 When I started thinking about how to create this product, there were a lot of challenges.

I know I want to create a hollow sphere that can hold a lot's of air plants, and at the same time, this sphere should be able to be hung and placed as a centerpiece on your table.

So, I decided to create these wonderful and unique planters with Air dry clay. It takes me 2 months and countless failures to get to the perfect thickness and sturdy for these planters to not crack.

They are not perfect, but I love them as they are. It is a purely handmade item and made with lots of love and care 🥰

💚 One of the most common yet unique air plants found in the United States is the Tillandsia Usneoides, better known as Spanish Moss. If you are native to the South or have visited cities such as Charleston, New Orleans, Savannah, or even our hometown of Saint Augustine, then you have probably set eyes on these whimsical, flowing strands from the ancient live oaks or swamp-loving cypress trees.

🌳 The Southern Live Oaks and Bald Cypress trees create the perfect habitat for the Spanish Moss as they have high rates of foliar mineral leaching of calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus.

💫 Although the Spanish Moss relies on the trees for such nutrition, they are not parasitic to them as they only use the trees for support and not to draw in nutrients.
