The Labyrinth
A hand-welded labyrinth sphere that adds geometric depth to your garden — crafted from steel rectangles forming a maze-like pattern, ideal for modern landscapes and zen-inspired spaces.
The Labyrinth is one of my most architectural designs. Instead of circular washers, this sphere is built from welded steel rectangles that interlock into a continuous maze pattern. The effect changes depending on your angle — dense and layered from one side, open and airy from another. It rewards close looking, which is why people tend to stop and study it.
The natural rust finish gives it warm, earth tones that shift from golden ochre to deep brown as the patina matures through the seasons. Sunlight passes through the openwork structure, projecting geometric shadow patterns onto the ground around it.
