A few years since I did a ”who am I post” so here we go 🙋🏻♀️
My name is Nathalie Aurén Roslund, I’m married to my best friend Joonas and mother to Eric (2y) and bonus mother to Rianna (13y) 🧡
We live in Jakobstad, a small town on the west coast of Finland. We have two golden retrivers, Simba (the cozy older one) and Rölli (the crazy but cute youngster) 🦁🐑
Currently I’m home with our son most of the time and work with my small art business a few hours/days a week.
I teach abstract painting workshops, do a commission here an there, and sell art prints 🎨 Love it!!
I create in the midst of motherhood and everyday life. I have a tiny painting corner in my sons playroom, dreaming about an art studio in our back yard 🤭
There is never enough time, but I’m so grateful for the possibility to both be home with my son and work with the things I love 🥲 It is s challenge to balance it all but I wouldn’t change it for anything 🧡
Seven years ago I fell in love with abstract art and with time I started to build my business around it. Many of you have followed along on the whole journey, so happy that you’re still here! 🥰
When I became a mother so much in my life changed. After years and years of seaching I came home to God and everything just clicked 🤍
From that new place, with a little baby and way too few hours of sleep, the inspiration to paint flowers started to grow 🥹 And slowly, the journey of learing to paint floral paintings started 🌸
And here I am today, loving my ordinary, busy but beautiful life with my family. Teaching painting workshops and painting flowers whenever I get the chance to and hoping to spread joy, beauty and hope with my art to the people who receive it 🫶
