Luoto Socks are lovely knee-high socks with stripes and nupps (not worked as typical p9tog nupps, don't worry). The socks are designed for Tukuwool Sock (a sport weight yarn) but DK will work fine as well.

Way back in January, I had two designs published in magazine. I finally got the rights back and now Luoto sweater and Luoto Socks are available in my own shops.
Luoto is a pretty and relaxed striped sweater with European shoulders and long sleeves. It features a round neckline and the stripes are separated by lovely little nupps (which are not worked as typical nupps, so don't worry).

I spent most of the summer knitting a full-length skirt with a lace hem. About a trillion sts and lace worked flat on both sides after the hem slit. Not the easiest project but I enjoyed not having to wonder what to knit next. I knew this would last me all summer long. Now if only I managed to find a place for a photoshoot. The skirt is already in test knitting and I'll hopefully publish it next spring in time for you to make it for next summer.

While you're all working on your Viisto sweaters, I've got more good things coming your way. 🩷I'm super excited for this clover sweater called Lucky Lavender. The pattern will be dropping in September. I finally feel like I'm on a roll. There are good knitting (and designing) vibes flying around my office and I'm just inhaling it all. I had a long design slump, not feeling as inspired as usual and looking at my older designs, I started feeling like I peaked in 2019. Every time I come across the photos of Harmas sweater, or Dripping Honey, I get this nostalgic feeling that those were some of my best work and I've been longing to feel that way again. And right now, with Viisto KAL, Lucky Lavender coming in September and a new moth-themed colourwork design on my needles, I finally feel like I'm at the top of my game again. Feels. So. Good. 💫 And I'm not talking about sales numbers. Just a personal feeling. Feeling truly inspired. Feeling I'm being innovative. Creating something of my very own. I hope you'll stay along for the ride. 🥰

Hei kuulkaa! ViistoKAListelu on hyvässä vauhdissa teitä on lähtenyt ihan valtavasti mukaan yhteisneulontaan.
