Jalo Helsinki

The Finnish smoke alarms Kupu and Lento bring safety and beauty into homes. From this unique idea Jalo Helsinki was established in 2009.

This usually difficult and inesthetic safety appliance has now been designed into an easy to use decorative article. Jalo Helsinki tekee kauniita design-palovaroittimia ja muita kodin paloturvatuotteita sinun ja rakkaimpiesi turvaksi. Missiomme on pelastaa ihmishenkiä. Teemme elämästä turvallisempaa kauniilla design paloturvallisuustuotteilla, joita ihmiset haluavat sijoittaa omaan arkeensa. Visiomme on koti ilman palokuolemia. Työskentelemme jatkuvasti tullaksemme johtavaksi kansainvälisesti tunnustetuksi toimijaksi tämän vision edistämisessä.

Designed to save lives 🖤

All our smoke alarms are certified to the CE-EN14604 standard, making them approved for use across Europe.

Furthermore, our manufacturing process undergoes regular inspections and audits by authorized inspectors. This is of the utmost importance to us, as we make absolutely no compromises in device design when it comes to saving lives.

Let’s enjoy these beautiful August days! 🌿♡

The textile-covered Kupu smoke detector, designed by Harri Koskinen for Jalo Helsinki, has been updated with a high-performance, built-in lithium battery that lasts for ten years. This means the battery in the Kupu 10 smoke detector never needs replacing during the product’s lifespan, as authorities recommend replacing the entire unit—battery included—every ten years ♡
