One of the first few pages I made for my portfolio. Although some elements could do with some improvement, I’m pretty happy with how this page turned out. Leading more into the traditional style of drawing, had so much fun creating these little illustrations and putting this page together. Using biro again for these pages, helping me get a bit more comfortable with tone before colour.

The previous page in my portfolio finished a little while ago, focusing on maces, chains and skulls. Using blue biro has got to be one of my fav mediums lately, having so much fun making these portfolio pages. But seeing my skills improve compared to a couple years ago is an insanely rewarding feeling, getting there!! Even if it’s slowly it’s surely 🐌 can’t help but think of how fast I could improve if I weren’t working 50 hours a week though 🤡

One of my recent pages in my portfolio, finished last month. Using blue biro on A3 paper being inspired by the Aztec empire, had so much fun making this I can’t wait to get started on the next page which I’ve got a few ideas in the making currently.

After a much-needed break in the sunshine of beautiful Italy, visiting local museums and cafes, doing about 20k steps daily I can’t wait to get back to drawing every day!! Although I wish I brought some of the sunshine back to Wales with me ☁️☁️☁️

Owl design! Loooooved doing this had sm fun. Now that I’ve upgraded my iPad I can finally do some more digital work which I’ve been missing out on for what feels like years.
