Now that’s what you call a statement bed! 🤩

This impressive Finchley bed was recently delivered and installed for one of our customers, featuring a huge 6ft-high by 6ft-wide headboard that takes centre stage in this beautiful bedroom.

Our customer paired it with a practical end-lift ottoman base, providing plenty of hidden storage, and the luxurious Midas 2000 Pocket Gel mattress for a supportive and comfortable night’s sleep.

✨ Behind the Scenes at Mayfield Furniture… ✨

With the arrival of our brand new Sintered Stone ceramic dining collection, we knew this showroom space needed a refresh — and sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference!

So how did we create this look?

First, we realised the existing wall colour just wasn’t complimenting the table and chairs. We repainted the wall using GoodHome Louisville from B&Q. As anyone who’s ever painted knows… it never quite looks like the tin! What appeared to be a dark grey actually turned out to be a beautiful deep green — and we love it. It perfectly ties together the grey and green dining chairs around the table.

Next, we needed to break up the walls and add some interest. A full-length grid style mirror instantly opened the space up and helped bounce natural light around the display.

On the far wall, we added some simple shelving (with a little modification to reduce the overhang!) and finished the look with plants — because let’s be honest, everyone loves plants 🌿.

It’s amazing how a few simple changes can completely transform a space!
