I had the privilege of framing one of Roger Hilton‘s last paintings on paper. It had been with the paper restorer for the past two years. I float mounted it with a double museum grade 100% cotton mount board, housed in a solid oak lime washed frame using museum Water White Art Glass.

Certainly one of the most challenging pieces I’ve been asked to frame as it is so delicate. Made from thorns in encaustic wax so obviously has to be handled with extreme care.
