The Rugs

14/10/2026

Renting doesn’t mean living with someone else’s taste.

No paint, no new floors, no awkward chat with the landlord. Just a rug doing five jobs at once, and when the tenancy ends it rolls up and comes with you 🏡

Save this for your next move, or send it to the friend who just signed a lease.

🏠 I just moved into an unfurnished one bed rental with the most boring dark carpet, so it needed a glow up without any permanent changes.

One rug and the whole room feels different. It’s brighter, softer underfoot, and finally has some personality. It’s now my favourite spot for morning coffee ☕ and cosy evenings in 🛋️

Making the most of the autumn sun on the patio 🍂

Our little corner has the Dark Grey Nature outdoor rug from The Rugs and it’s made the space feel like an extra room. Soft underfoot, happy living outside, and a quick jet wash brings it back.

This room never quite felt complete until our Montana rug arrived 🤍

We’d just finished the makeover and I kept walking in feeling like something was missing. I spent so many evenings hunting for the right rug, and the second this one from The Rugs went down, I knew.

That texture. Those soft neutral tones. It’s finally the room I pictured when we started.

And Adam, if you’re reading this, the light is absolutely fine.
