I bought some wooden hanging bird decorations. We have a Young Person in our Big Smile Collective Youth Art Factory Club at Brentwood Youth Centre, that is obsessed with birds and is really good at drawing and painting them. Looking forward to seeing what they create out of the blank plywood!

Arts & Crafts Materials Swap on Wednesday 3 September 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Brentwood Theatre Café, 15 Shenfield Road, Brentwood, Essex CM15 8AG.

Swap and test recycled and new arts and craft materials this month at YAY mates. Do you love art supplies TOO much? We do! Swap with other creatives over a coffee and catch up. Have a clear out of your studio or home and bring anything you bought, but never got round to using... or just bring yourself. Your YAY mates organisers will be sharing our excess goodies too.

1-5 September 2025 marks Zero Waste Week, so celebrate sustainability with us. If you are looking for a new string to your creative bow this Autumn, or you're just jealous that kids get 'back to school' stationery in September, join us. Free to attend for artists and their mates!

Everything changes doesn't it, and as we move forward, we are gradually phasing out the wallpaper section of the website. Our range of hand-drawn illustrated wallpaper will then, no longer be available. Very sad to see it go but that's progress, it makes way for the new.

Thank you for all your support over the years, especially who have continued to champion our work by using it in their dining room, bar and hallway, as well as fabric prints on the chairs. ⁠

It's wonderful to see our wallpaper used as a backdrop for lots of amazing artists showcasing their work.
