And finally.... here she is!
Small in size but mesmerising in appearance.
I think this piece is now one of my personal favourites. Sometimes everything just works.. the colours, shapes & composition. Not sure if my head was just in a good place or maybe I was enjoying the hot sunny weather 🤔 Anyway, my customer came and collected her a couple of weeks ago and now she's adorning the living room in their new home (see last photo)

I always apply 3 coats of clear satin varnish over my artwork to seal and protect. It's amazing how it enriches the colours and gives it that luxurious finish 💯

TAPE PEEL - TOP TIPS!
The best part of the process is peeling off the tape to reveal the artwork that's been hiding underneath. I've heard some people say they remove the tape while the paint is still wet 💧😬 I never do that. If paint is wet it can move and smudge. I only ever remove the tape when the paint is dry as then i know everything is fixed where I need it to be... but that's just the way I find it works and it's what ever works best for you 😉
I'm currently using Pro dec & Frog tape. Frog tape recently changed their formula and in my opinion, it's not as good as before. I did reach out to them but they never got back to me. I'm obviously too much of a small fish in their rather large ocean. Anyway, if you want good clean crisp lines, I highly recommend buying a good quality tape and not any old masking tape as it will let you down.

And here she is.. a delightful geometric bedroom cabinet. I'm super happy with how this one has turned out. The colour pallette is quite different to my usual "in ya face" colours, as it needed to be calming and peaceful. I also like the balance of the shapes too. They're not intricate or too busy which also gives a more relaxing vibe. I've used a mixture of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint | Furniture Paint & Products & Guild Lane | Materials for Makers paints to create this pallette. I really hope you like it 😄

This is the second of 2 pieces for my customer and this has been created for her bedroom. With a much softer colour pallette and a simpler design to create a more relaxing vibe.
