Yangneyeom Sauce 🌶️🌶️
Recipe Serves 2 | Total Cook Time: 3-4 Mins

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean Red Chilli Paste)
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Rice Syrup (or Honey/Corn Syrup)
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic (Fresh)
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar (or Apple Cider Vinegar)

Optional
- 1/2 tsp Gochugaru (Korean Chilli Flakes for extra Heat)

Garnish
- Toasted Sesame Seeds + Finely Sliced Spring Onions

How To Make the Sauce
Step One: Heat 1 tbsp of Sesame Oil in a small pan over Low-Medium heat
Step Two: Add in your Garlic & stir until fragrant usually about 20-30s will do
Step Three: Add in 2 tbsp of Gochujang, Ketchup, Soy Sauce, Rice Syrup, Brown Sugar, Rice Vinegar, and stir it all together
Step Four: Simmer for about 2 - 3 Mins until glossy and slightly thickened (Tip if it gets too thick just add in 1 - 2 tbsp of water and mix it in to loosen it back up)
Step Five: Turn off the Heat and Put onto meal or separate into contains for saving, you can also add fried chicken to the sauce if you want to make some really nice spicy homemade fried chicken

How to Store
Portion the sauce into an air tight jar or container and let it cool down before placing it in the fridge, it will last up to 7 Days Like this
Or alternatively you can freeze the sauce for up to two months
(just be sure to look out for any signs of discolouration or signs of it going bad before serving it up)
