Yesterday we finally took a well‑deserved day off, but today we’re back at it in the workshop. Shelf racks seem to be the flavour of the month, along with our new butterfly coffee tables. Now we just need to get better with the photography and capture some decent pics of everything we’ve been making.
Next week we’re cracking on with some bespoke orders — onwards and upwards in our little workshop. Thank you to everyone who supports our small business, it means the world to us.

Crafted by hand in our Yorkshire workshop, this solid reclaimed‑timber coffee table features bold Jacobean butterfly joints across a natural split — a hallmark of true craftsmanship. The piece shown is finished in Fiddes Premium Wax – Stripped Pine, bringing out the warm grain and character of the wood.

Last one out of the workshop today — a proper rough and rustic beauty.
The customer wanted it weathered, worn‑in and full of character, so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

This bench comes in at 120cm wide, 40cm high and 22.5cm deep, fully distressed and finished in Fiddes Rugger Brown premium wax.
I absolutely loved making this one — the distressed look is honestly one of my favourites.

Off to its new home tomorrow. Rustic charm at its best.

Second piece out of the workshop today — this slimline cabinet was started yesterday and is already finished and ready to ship out. The customer requested no back on this piece, giving it a lighter, open feel while still keeping that rustic charm.

Perfect for bathrooms, hallways or living rooms, it measures 75cm (H) x 22.5cm (D) x 60cm (W) and is finished in our rich Fiddes Rugger Brown premium wax for a warm, earthy glow.
Another tidy build wrapped up and heading to its new home. 🪵✨

First out of the workshop this morning — a lovely little bench, 50cm tall and 75cm wide.
Fire written across the front edge, finished in a smooth coat of Stripped Pine Fiddes Premium Wax just as the customer asked.

This little beauty is getting packed up today and will be settling into its new home tomorrow.
