I’d love to make jewellery… I just don’t have the time.”
I hear this ALL the time.
But here’s the thing… crafting doesn’t have to mean clearing an entire day, getting every tool you own out and turning the dining table into a workshop.
Sometimes it’s 20 minutes.
A cup of tea. Your tools. A few beautiful beads. And your brain concentrating on something that has absolutely NOTHING to do with work, washing, emails or everybody else.
That’s a huge part of why I created the Relax n Craft subscription.

Is anyone else’s brain just… CHAOS at the minute?! 😂

I don’t know if it’s holiday blues, the full moon, something going on in my astronomical sign 🌙✨ or if my crafty brain has just completely abandoned me…

But I sit down to make something.

Get ALL the beads out.

Get the findings out.

Have approximately 427 ideas at once.

Move everything around for 20 minutes.

Start one thing. Change my mind. Start something else.

And somehow end up making absolutely NOTHING. 🤦‍♀️😂

Please tell me it’s not just me?!

⚠️ STERLING SILVER + SWIMMING POOLS = NOT BEST FRIENDS!
Consider this your little reminder to take your sterling silver jewellery OFF before you jump in the pool or hot tub! Chlorine and sterling silver really don’t get along. It can cause your beautiful silver to tarnish, discolour.
And hot tubs? Even worse — heat + chemicals + your favourite jewellery = a combination best avoided! 😬
The good news? If you forget (because we’ve ALL done it 🙋‍♀️), don’t immediately panic. As you can see in the video, sometimes a good clean can bring that gorgeous shine right back.
So before you swim…

💍 Sterling silver OFF.

The suitcases are unpacked (mostly 😜), the holiday memories have been made… and now I’m back where I belong. 💕

Back in the workshop.
Back amongst the beads, gemstones, wire and tools.
Back creating beautiful jewellery.
And most importantly… back creating with YOU. ✨

Because as much as I love a holiday, there’s something pretty special about walking back into my workshop and feeling that little spark of excitement about everything still waiting to be made.
