Textured seascape paintings from the Isle of Wight

Welcome to Fiona Moatt Art, my work combines painting and collage where paper is painted with acrylic and then torn and applied to produce layered textural images. The Isle of Wight is a major source for my work and I am particularly fascinated with the changing light and how that affects the colour and mood of the sea.

DELIVERY DAY!! Artists from across the island dropped off their work today at The Quay Arts Centre ready for this year’s Under the Bed Sale which starts on Wednesday - don’t miss it!

The fantastic ‘Under the Bed Sale’ is back! Starting next Wednesday 11th February open 9am - 5pm daily.

Over 50 established IOW artists selling affordable original art with a price range of £5 - £400.

New paintings ready for my Christmas pop up exhibition this Sunday 30th November at Yarmouth Town Hall 10am - 4pm and Bath Humbug Art Market at 44AD artspace in Bath 8th - 14th December 11am - 6pm.

My Christmas pop up exhibition will have a selection of original paintings, prints, framed mixed media ceramic tiles, handmade and printed cards and even some painted acrylic collage baubles!

Really excited to be taking part in this year’s Bath Humbug Art Market at in the heart of the Bath Christmas Market!!

Alongside other independent artists, designers and makers, I will have a stall from Monday 8th - Sunday 14th December 11am - 6pm, so if you’re planning a visit to Bath during this time or are lucky enough to live in this beautiful city please pop in and say hi!

Thank you to all of the lovely people who came to visit my ‘pop up’ exhibition in Yarmouth yesterday. I finished the bank holiday with a swim and a sunset, fantastic!
