Finally... a day of rest! I'm reflecting on the busy few months leading up to two big events last week. We (my husband Declan The Ink Jar | Antiques, Arts & Collectables and I) in the same week, showcased our love for art and antiques. I had the launch of my solo art exhibition and we were part of the first ever The Great Antiques Fair in Northern Ireland.

It was many long hours and late nights, and at times I was a bit overwhelmed. That's not a complaint though. I'm more than grateful Declan and I get to do the job we love together and get to share this with you.

In a fast pace, AI driven, digital era, we hope real craftsmanship in art prevails and inspires. And in today's world where we're quick to discard and replace newly mass produced cheap stuff, we hope choosing vintage and antique items add appreciation and quality, sustainable living to our lifestyle.

Art and antiques is our passion. For those who are new here, we hope you have a new found appreciation for both. To those who've supported us along our journey so far, thank you 💛

Thank youuuu! What an intense but thoroughly enjoyable few months in the lead up working towards putting together my solo exhibition Seacourt Print Workshop.

Thank you Seacourt team for the opportunity and support, and thank you The Ink Jar | Antiques, Arts & Collectables for the beautiful tables that's part of my exhibition.

And a massive thank you to everyone who turned up to the opening night, and the kind messages sent from those weren't able to make it. Your support truly means a lot. Hope you all enjoyed the show, and if you haven't seen it yet, it is on display until the end of November.

Inspiration is everywhere. Found this little flower whilst on my lunch break at the park.

In Ireland, this plant was sewn into the clothing of travellers as they embark on their journey for good luck/"God speed"; derived from the name of the plant called Veronica Filiformis or more commonly known as slender speedwell.

So I've appropriately titled this piece "Ádh mór ort", which means "good luck" in Irish.
